“It is by loving and not by being loved that one can come nearest to the soul of another.”
― George MacDonald
All of my favourite weddings are the same in that they are unique and capture the couple in their own special way. Jacqui and Alexandros' wedding was no exception. Having been together for 11 years, there was a tender yet familiar closeness between these two beautiful souls and their adorable children Luka and Indy. Throughout the day, it was clear to me how close this family is and the deep connection and love they have for each other. You can see this written all over the images. The day was simple and beautiful with a tremendous focus on the details. The whole theme stemmed from the choice of wedding gown, a Grace Loves Lace, Inca gown, which complemented Jacqui's natural, elegant beauty and looked effortlessly cool. That dress really was a piece of art. This led to choosing The Milk Station, an incredibly beautiful venue with fabulous staff, which was perfect for an indoor spring wedding. It all came together as a warm rustic celebration. I had such a blast documenting this wedding. The bridal party were fantastic fun and the bride and groom were so natural and present on the day, soaking it all in. Exactly what makes the best weddings.
